AWESOME OCEAN JASPER CABOCHON

Sometimes we are lucky to come across a stone that is not just beautiful,

there are fortunately many of those, but one that is rare 

and unusual.

The pattern in this stone is a classic Ocean Jasper.

The color though is out of this world.

Teal background and true pink orbs.

NEW ORLEANS JAZZ PENDANT

New Year started with new work for me.

New Orleans is the theme and I have new photos to show.

MOVING TO NEW ORLEANS

I have been asked so many times if I were from New Orleans.

My answer has always been:  in a past life I must have been from New Orleans.

I didn't stop to think about what it meant.

I paint New Orleans, but I don't live in New Orleans.

I feel at home in New Orleans, but I live in a State I no longer even like.

It made no sense.

I will be leaving Illinois for New Orleans on the 12th for the last time.

In this lifetime I may not be from New Orleans, but I sure do belong there.

MY 11TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

This year as every year come all the special dates so along comes another wedding anniversary.

I was married on November 11th, 2000.

This year my anniversary falls on 11-11-11 and it is the 11th anniversary for us.

We need a special cake.
